North Greensboro Mission Partners

St. Francis, St. Barnabas and Holy Spirit Episcopal Churches

3 worshiping communities in North Greensboro

1 mission

To love God, love our neighbors, and serve our community together

Ministry with Youth and Young Adults
We offer local mission camps and enrichment activities throughout the year for youth of any church (and un-churched young people, too).
Since most churches do not have large youth groups or budgets, these local collaborations offer opportunities for more young people to experience building new friendships and serving their community.
Ministry with Immigrant Neighbors
St. Barnabas Episcopal Church offers a ministry of Sanctuary with Juana Tobar Ortega, who has lived on the grounds of St. Barnabas since May 2017 when she received deportation order.
As mission partners we support this ministry by staying with Juana, calling our representatives petitioning a stay on her order, and working toward a fairer immigration policy with local and state leaders in the immigrant community.
Worship, Evangelism, and Christian Formation
Good Friday downtown Way of the Cross is an annual public worship service that sees 45+ Episcopalians and others offering prayers and witness for justice in our city
